Art is a form of an emotional response to work somebody has performed or created, and is normally valued by the person making that response. This studio values that view and is committed to ethical conduct. Often productions are free, as profit is not the goal. The journey of the creative process is what really keeps this studio in operation.
Integrity is of the highest value this studio stands for. Whether a production is paid or is free, and the artist work in this studio or remotely with this studio, the following values will be upheld by the individuals part of this studio:
- An artist need to be 20 or older
- An artist will never be exploited or misled
- Collaboration will always be:
- focused on music production
- private and confidential (not personal)
- Trust and commitment are strengths in this studio
- An artist's work will never be shared without consent from the artist
- Permission is always acquired before any sharing
- Typically only a sample or preview is shared
- This studio will never publish material to an online music distribution service
- We might advise the artist on how to do that if requested
- An artist's original work will always belong the the artist
- This studio has no interest in taking material from the artist for it's own intentions, this includes (but not limited to):
- Melody
- Lyrics
- Vocals
- Music
- Promotion of the artist will always be the objective
- It is about the artist and music for the artist
- Free productions (and most paid) once completed, are always donated to the artist
- Before work starts, a simple but clear contract will state that the artist may do what they please with the production
- Work will be shared immediately with the artist
- The studio expects the artist to name this studio as the producer of the work
